With treating skies all night long we were able to get the four and final race of the Midwest Ford Focus Series in at Gas City. With a outside front row starting spot in the heat race I was able to pick up a another win. As the track began to dry out, for the feature we made some adjustments to tighten the car up, ended up not being enough. With a seventh starting spot I was able to make quick work and charge up to third with about 10 laps left in the 20 lap feature. After a few restarts I was able to work to second and set my eyes on the point. On a last lap classic, “win it or wear it” move I drove as hard as I could to take the lead but came up sort and fell back to a fourth place finish. 

On the season in USAC dirt competition we won at both Butler Battle Grounds and I-96 speedway the two races at Gas City I-69 we ended up with a 13^th and 4^th place finishes. In heat race action we pulled in one win and two seconds. All this was enough for us to secure a podium finish of third in the points.
