After a long haul to Madison International Speedway, and getting on a fairly new surface we were searching early in the evening. With a slow qualify time we made improvements for the heat race and were able to get very racy on the interestingly shaped ¼ mile. Our ninth quick time and fourth in the heat race gave us a ninth place start in the 25 lap feature. With a car that was handling great I was able to work my way up to 6^th and run with the lead pack when the checkers fell. 

After, changing the car over Saturday we made our way to Sun Prairie and after driving thru lots of rain it was canceled so I will have to wait till the begging of August to head back!
