Rolling in to a packed pits and one of the largest crowds I have possibly raced in front of Wednesday night at South Bend Motor Speedways, Ryan Newman night. The tight little quarter mile proved to be a tricky place to get a hold of early in the night as we struggled, a very high pill draw didn’t help our cause in the heat race as we started 9^th and where able to finish 7^th. After getting some time to adjust on the car and the track to cool off and become very racy. Starting from the 13^th hole I was able to make my way to 7^th position, before an accident coming off of turn 4 where in avoiding it I was spun. But, thanks to a great working car I was able to come back to finish in the tenth spot. We are getting ready to make the drive north for two shows this weekend in Wisconsin.
