After a late change in plans on Thursday evening and no sprint car races for me during the weekend. We headed for the Midwest Pavement Focus series race at Kentucky Speedway. After two hotlap sessions we where searching for some traction on the very flat quarter mile. For the heat race we started on the outside front row and fell in to line at fourth place. With more adjustments to the car to help get the car hooked up better. We started on the outside 6^th row and keeping my nose clean early I was able to work my way up. Trading spots from seventh thru ninth positions with about 8 laps left in the 25 lap feature. I started a pass on seventh place and made contact with the seventh positions tire and spun. I was able to come back to a 15^th place finish.
