We traveled north to Galesburg Speedway to run on the flat ¼ mile oval. On our first visit to the quick track we were able to grab 7^th quick time and from a third starting position in the heat race I was able to collect my first heat race win on pavement. For the feature we started seventh and with a few adjustments to the car that didn’t help, I was unable to move forward but we rolled the car in the trailer with a ninth place finish. 

Even though the feature at Galesburg wasn’t a great finish the weekend overall was very good and a weekend of firsts for us on pavement. With our quickest qualifying time Friday at Xenia, also the first time to lead a feature on pavement and a finish that matched our previous best from Madison Speedway (in Midwest Series action). At Galesburg I was able win our first heat race as well, hopefully we can carry some momentum on to Anderson Speedway on Wednesday evening and to Hawkeye Downs on Friday night. We also then plan on making the trip to Angel Park Speedway on Sunday to return to the dirt!!
