Gas City Friday night with 26 cars and 20+ loads of new clay down, the track was very tacky and fast. In the heat race witha pole starting spot, we slid back to seventh place, just fighting the rough and heavy track. Which put us on the outside second row for the semi and would transfer with a second place finish in the semi. For the feature, starting inside the 9th row, and luckily avoiding a first lap pile-up, running well, and what could have been a good finish, until I found the very heavy cushion around lap 10. The car biked up and over the burm and set down very hard on the left side, bending the nerf bar into the left rear tire ending our night and giving us an 18th place finish.
