We made the drive up to I-96 Speedway last Friday night to run in only the second race of the Midwest Focus Dirt series. The semi banked quarter mile was quick all night long and after starting on the pole of the heat race and ending up second we were hopefully in for a good run in the feature. With a good invert to position me on the outside front row for the thirty lap feature. After drifting back to third place early I was able to start making the car work and on lap 10 we took the lead and never looking back picking up my first win with USAC.

This week we will be running on Wednesday night at Mt. Lawn and Friday takes us to Dixie Motor Speedway and Saturday evening we will be in action at Berlin Raceway. The racing will start slowing down for us this season as I began my third year of school at Purdue.
